French forward/center Kevin Seraphin has emerged as a player that interests Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Seraphin, 27, signed a two-year deal with the Indiana Pacers in the previous summer but the second year of the contract is not guaranteed. The Pacers have until August 1 to decide if they will keep him for 2017/2018 or not.

The international French player has averaged 5.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 15 minutes per game during the seven years he has spent in the NBA with the Washington Wizards, New York Knicks and Pacers. He notched 4.7 points plus 2.9 rebounds per game in the previous season.

Seraphin and the Blaugrana were discussing a potential deal last summer with the player himself admitting that his first choice was to sign with them. However, according to Seraphin, Barcelona ultimately didn’t manage to empty some room in its roster and he went on to sign the Pacers.
