Barcelona and Edwin Jackson have a deal according to Gigantes Del Basket. The player returns to the team after his stint in 2014-2015.

The club reached an agreement with Estudiantes, that held the player’s rights in Spain per the “Tanteo” rules, and now Jackson is available to join the Blaugrana.

The French shooting guard began the season with the Guangdong Flying Tigers in China. He averaged 15.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists in 24 matches before being cut earlier this month.

In 2016-2017, Jackson was named top scorer in the Spanish League after notching 21.4 points per game with the jersey of Estudiantes.

Jackson, 28, becomes the fourth French player of Barcelona, joining the company of guard Thomas Heurtel, forward Adrien Moerman and center Kevin Seraphin.

Barcelona, that is 7 – 12 in EuroLeague and with few playoff chances, has also been reported to be in the market for a center.
