Two problems for Olympiacos ahead of CSKA Moscow.

Olympiacos forward Kostas Papanikolaou will miss the game of his team against CSKA Moscow, Wednesday (21/3), for Round 27 of the EuroLeague Regular Season while guard Vangelis Mantzaris is considered doubtful.

Papanikolaou has yet to recover from a right-foot tendonitis that also kept him out of previous week’s match against Barcelona. Mantzaris is down with illness and it will be a last-minute decision whether he’ll follow the rest of his team to Moscow or not.

The classic EuroLeague battle between CSKA Moscow and Olympiacos is also a clash between the top two teams in the standings. CSKA is currently first with a 21 – 5 record and will most likely secure this position with a win. Meanwhile, the Reds are 18 – 8.

Olympiacos had won the first-leg game in Piraeus 88 – 86.
