FIBA has proceeded in contacting the heads of seven out of the 11 National Federations whose clubs participate in Euroleague, regarding its concern about the open conflict with the former competition, that could affect the national teams, as mentioned on Mundo Deportivo.

In a statement released on Monday, FIBA explains that a letter has been sent to the federations of Turkey, Spain, Lithuania, Greece, Italy, Israel and Russia on Friday which describes the current situation of the calendar and the conflict between FIBA and EuroLeague through the ‘windows’ of the National Teams

The letter includes some games that would be affected by the coinciding dates between the schedules, including games like Panathinaikos vs Real Madrid and Barcelona vs Real Madrid.
