Team USA’s roster was announced earlier today featuring 11 players currently playing in the G-League, including Xavier Munford who played in Barcelona last season and Semaj Christon who remains a free-agent in the NBA.
The team will be coached by former NBA head coach Jeff Van Gundy who led the USA squad to a 5-0 record and the gold medal at the FIBA AmeriCup Championship. The first qualifying game is against Puerto Rico on November 23rd.
