No Shved in Russia’s roster for first two games of World Cup Qualifiers

There are four EuroLeague players but no Alexey Shved in Russia’s 15-man squad for the World Cup Qualifiers.

EuroBasket 2017 All-Tournament Team selection Alexey Shved is absent from the roster of the Russian national team for the two first games of the World Cup Qualifiers.

Head coach Sergey Bazarevivch didn’t include his star-player in the 15-man squad ahead of the two matches that are going to be held in November’s Window, vs Bosnia in Sarajevo and against Belgium in Nizhny Novgorod.

The list includes four other EuroLeague players, three from CSKA Moscow but not Andrei Vorontsevich and Andrey Zubkov, Shved’s teammate in Khimki Moscow.
