Turkoglu noted that the Federation is “in talks” with Ersan Ilyasova and Omer Asik and both have expressed their interest in playing for the National Team this summer, as mentioned on Milliyet.
He then mentioned that Fenerbahce‘s Ahmet Duverioglu would like to join the Turkish NT as well: “Ahmet has informed us that he wants to play. We know that he was a member of the Jordanian NT and we are working on solving the issue as soon as possible.”
Turkey is partly hosting EuroBasket this summer, along with Finland, Israel and Romania.
