After seventeen years (!) of constant participation in the Greek National team, Nikos Zisis will soon announce his retirement from the squad.

After seventeen years (!) of constant participation in the Greek National team, Nikos Zisis is expected to officially announce his retirement from the squad tomorrow.

From his first venture with the national team in the 1999 U-16 Championship where he won the silver medal with Greece, Zisis was one to always answer the call of the national team, for each and every summer tournament.

During his years with the Men’s national team, he has won the gold medal in Eurobasket 2005, silver medal in World Championship of 2006 and bronze medal in Eurobasket 2009.

With the youth teams, he had won the first place in the U20 European Championship of 2002, second place in the U16 Championship of 1999 and third place in U18 European Championship of 2000.
