Pini Gershon is spending the last few days in Greece, he was seen in the Greek league finals, but this time the reason for his visit is not his old team, Olympiacos, but rival Panathinaikos.
According to Sportit.gr, Gershon has already a deal to coach Panathinaikos next season and the only if the Greens get the championship title this may change, something which is rumored for weeks in Israel. Gershon was rumored also in the past to be a target οf Panathinaikos, but this time it seems that the two sides have already agreed to cooperate. It’s also a well known fact that Gherson has the outmost respect of Panathinaikos’ owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos since his days in Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Olympiacos is leading with 2-1 wins in the finals, they need one more win in order to win the championship title and Game 4 is scheduled to be played on Monday at OAKA.
