With the season over in Greece, Olympiacos is ready to plan for next year, starting from their two captains an then moving on to their main targets for the off-season.

Of course the first big matter that Olympiacos has to close is the extension of Vasilis Spanoulis’ contract with the team. The Reds are also ready to extend the contract of Giorgos Printezis, which ends at the summer of 2017.

And after that, at least two non Greek players are expected to be added in the roster and three are their priorities. D.J.Strawberry is expected to be released due to the crowd of forwards in the roster, Olympiacos wants to add a combo guard and Bradley Wanamaker of Brose Baskets as also Mike James of Laboral Kutxa are the main candidates to get the job. Both of them are free agents, so things are going to get interesting.

Olympiacos also will try to sign a power forward, Okaro White of Aris BC – a player that also interests Panathinaikos – is a candidate, but the big target of the team is one more player of Brose Baskets. Italian forward Nicolo Melli can be the ideal fit for the team, however the situation with him is expected to be quite complicated, because he has a valid contract with the German champs for next season.
