KC Rivers is the chosen one of Panathinaikos. The talks with the former Real Madrid player have moved fast and the American sharp shooter is ready to sign with the Greeks for next season.
After losing the race with Barcelona for Victor Claver, the Greens have examined Manuchar Markoishvili who was pretty close to a deal. However after the change of the rules in the Greek league, according to which in the second round of 2016-17 season all six non Greek players will not have any passport limitation – previously two of them should have European citizenship – things changed.
Rivers is expected to finalize his deal soon and be the starting small forward of the team.
