After Donnie McGrath announced that he will not be able to join Lietuvos Rytas in the upcoming season due to a “personal matter”, the Lithuanian club his replacement in the face of American guard Jacob Pullen.

This is a rather qualitative addition for Lietuvos Rytas, since Pullen is a player who carries experience in the top level European basketball, having played in Euroleague with Barcelona and Cedevita.

During the previous season with the Croatians the 26-year old guard averaged 13.5 points and 2.8 assists in Euroleague, helping the team reach the competition’s Top 16, a first-time achievement in club’s history.

Pullen came extremely close to Crvena Zvezda earlier during the summer, but a final deal between the two sides didn’t come into fruition.
