As Barcelona announced, Pau Ribas was successfully operated last night at the Hospital de Barcelona. The surgery began, while his companions played against Brose Bamberg.
The Spanish guard will be sidelined for nine months and that means he is out for the season. Of course he has the unconditional support of his coach and teammates who just before the game against Brose Bamberg wore a shirt with the slogan “In the Palau, we are all Pau”.
Coach Giorgos Bartzokas wanted to dedicate the win to Ribas, as he said in the press conference after the game.
