Crvena Zvezda announced that Nikola Rebic will be sidelined for several months trying to recover from mononucleosis.
The 21-year-old point guard had been feeling ill recently and the examinations he underwent showed that he suffers from mono.
His rehabilitation period may last from some weeks to six months and its exact length will be determined after the medical team of Crvena Zvezda runs the necessary additional tests.
Rebic had participated in two Euroleague games of the current season with Red Star, staying on court for an average of 7:25 minutes.
