Fans are never hiding their feelings and this was not the first time that the coach of the opponents was not hailed with applause.

However, what happened with Dimitris Itoudis in Piraeus at the game against Olympiacos was unprecedented. Itoudis, a former assistant coach of Panathinaikos under Zeljko Obradovic, was hearing curses from the moment he appeared at the arena and he was not able to speak to the television camera after the end of the game without insulting chants against him.

It was the first time in recent years that there was such tension against the opponent coach at SEF and even Itoudis’ mentor, Obradovic, never heard the things said to the Greek coach today.
