Greek-American power forward Zach Auguste dropped a 31 points career-high leading Usak Sportif to a 96 – 76 victory over Rosa Radom for the Basketball Champions League.

The 23-year-old player, who is currently spending his first professional season in Turkey, was absolutely immense on both ends of court, keeping his team alive in the competition by emerging as a leader in an almost “do or die” game.

Usak has a 4 – 7 record in Group C of the Champions League and would be quite possibly doomed if defeated by Rosa Radom.

Auguste, who had some problems adapting to European basketball in his first games with Usak, also grabbed 14 (!) rebounds, eight of them on offense. To register his career-high number of 31 he shot 11/17 from the field and 9/15 from the free-throw line.

Certainly a more than promising performance which showcases his potential.
