Despite the financial issues that Gaziantep had after the withdrawal of its main sponsor, Royal Hali, the club is ready to compete next season both in the Turkish BSL and the FIBA Europe cup.
It was a turbulent summer for the club, the possibility of the team not being able to compete any more in the high level was real, but Gaziantep found the way and now they are preparing for the upcoming season. This is confirmed by the Greek coach Stefanos Dedas via twitter. Dedas is already in Turkey in order to build the new roster.
However the main point guard from last season, Earl Calloway, already left for an other Turkish team, İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor.
