After a season divided between Besiktas and Gran Canaria, D.J.Seeley was announced as the new member of Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The move has leaked after Maccabi‘s failure to reach the Israeli league finals and now it became official as the player signed a 1+1 contract. Seeley (1,93 m., 27) joined Gran Canaria midway through last season and helped it reach the Eurocup semifinals, the Spanish King’s Cup final and the Spanish League playoffs. He averaged 11.4 points on 50% three-point shooting in 12 Eurocup games for Gran Canaria and 9.0 points on 38.3% three-point shooting in the Spanish League.

After having made his European debut with Serbian side Radnicki Kragujevac in the 2013-14 season and started the 2015-16 campaign with Besiktas JK Istanbul, Gran Canaria was his third Eurocup team. Seeley also played for La Bruixa d’Or Manresa in Spain, Medi Bayreuth in Germany and Delaware of the D-League.
