This summer’s premier basketball experience in Nafplio featured two full training sessions.

Featuring two specialized training programs, the Eurohoops Nafplio Basketball Camp offered the ultimate basketball development experience to boys and girls from across Greece in one of the country’s most renowned tourist destinations: Nafplio. Held over two sessions at the Nafplio and Nea Kios indoor sports halls, the camp combined individual skill development and gameplay with the backdrop of Argolida’s enchanting sights. As part of the event, EuroLeague Legend and Eurohoops Academy Ambassador Theodoros Papaloukas visited Nafplio, sharing valuable advice and experiences with the athletes and serving as a source of inspiration.

This year’s training programs, designed by Eurohoops Academy Technical Director Konstantinos Meletis, featured two specialized thematic Labs. The Advanced Shooting Lab focused on perfecting shooting technique and improving accuracy rates with the aid of the state-of-the-art Dr. Dish shooting machine, while the Offensive Skills Lab targeted offensive development and speed using Hiveact’s Reaction Cells.

For the second consecutive year, the Eurohoops Nafplio Basketball Camp succeeded in making a positive impact—not only on the court but also through the experiences it offered the athletes. Young players from the greater Nafplio area and children who traveled from various parts of Greece bonded as a group, set against the backdrop of the country’s historic first capital. Over the course of a few days, they explored the city and learned about its history, socialized, and learned to function as a team, gathering memories that will stay with them for a lifetime. This is the true success of the Eurohoops Nafplio Basketball Camp, which continues to unite young athletes from across Greece through basketball and is gradually becoming an institution in the Argolida region.
