Lockdown on basketball competitions extends to the ABA League.

The ABA League announced on Thursday the suspension of its competitions until further notice.

Per ABA League: “Considering the current situation with the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak and in order to protect the health and safety of players, coaches, officials, and fans, the ABA League j.t.d. announces that all of the competitions under the ABA umbrella (ABA League, ABA League 2 and U19 ABA League Championship) are suspended with immediate effect and until further notice.

Considering the current situation with the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak and in order to protect the health and safety of players, coaches, officials, and fans, the ABA League j.t.d. announces that all of the competitions under the ABA umbrella (ABA League, ABA League 2 and U19 ABA League Championship) are suspended with immediate effect and until further notice.

ABA League j.t.d. will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis and will, in agreement with the clubs and depending on the development of the situation, make further decisions.”
