Nikola Ivanovic produced buckets for Buducnost in a tough win.

Buducnost VOLI became the first team in ABA League to reach 3 wins in the 2020-2021 season thanks to a splendid game by Nikola Ivanovic.

Round 3 though began a bit earlier…

Cedevita Olimpija – Split 94 – 66

Kendrick Perry delivered points (16) and assists (8) as Cedevita blew out Split at home. Jarrod Jones scored a team-high 18 points for the Slovenian side while Rion Brown dropped 15 points and Jaka Blazic 14.

Marko Lukovic (12 points), Sani Campara (11 points) and Darko Bajo (10 points) scored in double figures for Split.

Buducnost – Borac 86 – 83

Nikola Ivanovic scored 27 on 3-5 triples coming one point short of tying his career-high to lead Buducnost to win over ABA newcomer Borac.  Petar Popovic contributed 16 points to the Montenegrin team’s win.

Bryce Jones had 21 points and seven assists for Borac. Uros Karapic finished with 17 points.

Igokea – Koper Primoska 89 – 71 

Igokea captures its first win of the season by edging Koper Primoska behind 20 points by Dalibor Ilic and 15 points courtesy of Stefan Pot. Jurj Macura had a dominant performance of 25 points and nine rebounds while Luka Voncina scored 16 but also committed eight turnovers for the visiting squad.

FMP – Partizan Belgrade 90 – 103 

Codi Miller-McIntyre scored 23 points on 4-6 triples to lead Partizan to its first win of the season in ABA, a roadkill over FMP. It was a shootout between the two teams that combined for 24 3-pointers.

Partizan was superior thanks to Miller-McIntyre plus Rade Zagorac (15 points) and Marcus Paige.  Nemanja Nenadic dropped a game-high 27 points, Ogben Ulubay had 17 points and Filip Covic 16 for FMP.

Cibona – Mega Soccerbet 73-77

Dayshon Smith helped Mega roll to its third straight victory with 21 points, Filip Petrusev had 19 points and Marko Simonovic completed the list of top scorers with 13 points.

Mateo Dreznjak posted 23 points for the hosts, as Josip Bilinovac had 14 points.

Crvena Zvezda – Mornar 93-62

Zvezda enjoyed a comfortable victory at home, as Jordan Loyd paced the team with 16 points, Dejan Davidovac had 13, Langston Hall posted 12 and Marko Jagodic added 11.

Mornar’s Jacob Pullen was the only player in double digits with 12 points.

Zadar – Krka 70-73

Experienced point guard Rok Stipcevic led the Slovenian outlet to its first win of the season pouring 20 points behind five threes, also earned eight fouls. Jan Rebec added 15 points.

The hosts dropped to 0-3 despite Domagoj Vukovic producing 20 points.

Koper Primorska – Cedevita Olimpija 65-102

Kendrick Perry posted a team-high performance with 17 points and six assists for the winners, while Rion Brown had 14 points. Roko Leni Ukic and Rok Radovic tapped 11 points each.

Koper’s Luka Voncina added a game-high 21-point performance, followed by Urban Durnik who had 17 points.
