Saso Filipovski makes things happen for Partizan.

Partizan Belgrade captured its second straight win under new coach Saso Filipovski in the opening game of Round 7 in ABA League.

Cibona Zagreb – Partizan Belgrade 75 – 82 

Marcus Paige scored 16 points and Nikola Ivanovic added 15 points and 12 rebounds as Partizan Belgrade beat Cibona in Zagreb to improve to 4-3.

Filip Bundovic had 20 points and 16 points and 10 rebounds for Cibona. Partizan dominated the boards 42 – 20, grabbing 14 offensive rebounds against its opponents’ seven.

Mega Soccerbet – Krka Novo mesto 71-70

Mega grabbed the home win just barely led by Marko Simonovic with 17 points while Milenko Tepic added ten points. Dayshoon Smith scored right including the crucial two points down the stretch.

For Krka, Rok Stipcevic scored 16 and Roderick Camphor 13 points.

Cedevita Olimpija – Borac 97-88

Jaka Blazic posted 24 points, 8 boards and 4 assists for the hosts, Kendrick Perry followed with 14 points, 6 assists and Jarrod Jones tapped 12 points.

Nenad Nerandzic added a team-high of 17 points for Borac, Anthony Smith had 16 points and 4 assists and Nikola Kocovic, Uros Carapic shared 10 points apiece.

Crvena Zvezda – Split 78-76

Johnny O’Bryant led Zvezda to its seventh straight victory in the ABA League with 18 points and two assists, Marko Simonovic added 15 points and Dejan Davidovac had 10 points.

Marko Lukovic posted a game-high of 25 points, Antonio Vrankovic tapped a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Pavle Marcinkovic added up to the list of top scorers with 12 points.

Igokea – FMP 84-74

Marko Josilo banked in 25 points for the winning side while Edin Atic added 14 and Anthony Clemmons 13 points.

For FMP, Nemanja Nenadic and Filip COvic scored 19 each.
