The return of coach Dejan Radonjic and the ABA League debut of Quino Colom with the team weren’t combined with a win for Crvena Zvezda. Igokea routed Red Star 85 – 65 at home to improve to 9 – 2 and catch up with them in the standings.

Jackie Carmichael led a balanced Igokea effort with 14 points. Anthony Clemmons had 13 points and Dejan Talic 11.

For Zvezda, that is missing leading scorer Jordan Loyd (coronavirus), Ognjen Dobric and Corey Walden scored 10 points apiece.

In a battle between two EuroCup teams of the league, Mornar Bar downed Cedevita Olimpija 93 – 88 in Ljubljana behind a “hot” Jacob Pullen (36 points, five assists).

In Saturday, Filip Petrusev scored 25 points including the go-ahead basket in the last seconds of overtime as Mega Bemax defeated FMP 92 – 91 on the road. Marko Simonovic had a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds for Mega while Filip Covic finished with 26 points and 10 assists for the hosts.
