Dejan Davidovac scored a pair of free throws with 10 seconds to play to hand Crvena Zvezda 79 – 78 win over archrival Partizan Belgrade in the second semifinal game of the Serbian Cup.

Marko Simonovic stole the ball from Marcus Paige in the next play and Partizan’s last chance to win the match with it.

Jordan Loyd scored a game-high 24 points for Red Star, including the team’s first go-ahead basket, a 3-pointer for the 71 – 70 with four minutes to play. His basket capped a comeback from 11 points down in the third period.

Davidovac finished with 19 points while Johnny O’ Bryant added 10 points for the winning side.

Partizan led from start until the last minutes of the fourth period, when their opponents erased their double-digit lead to turn the game into a thriller. Ognjen Jaramaz had 19 points and nine assists, Marcus Paige scored 16 and Erik Mika posted 11 points and five boards.

Crvena Zvezda will face Mega Soccerbet in the Cup final. The latter advanced by defeating Vojvodina 82 – 75 thanks to 18 points by Marko Simonovic.
