Justin Cobbs scored 22 points including the go-ahead free throw in the last seconds as Buducnost beat Crvena Zvezda 81 – 80 in Game 4 of the ABA League Finals to force the “winner-takes-all” Game 5.
Zoran Nikolic had put Buducnost up 78 – 76 to complete a comeback from 10 points down in the fourth period. Zvezda retook the lead when Ognjen Kuzmic scored for the 78 – 80 with 1:46 to play.
Danilo Nikolic scored two from the line and then Cobbs hit the decisive free throw with 11 seconds remaining. Jordan Loyd and Dejan Davidovac missed the jumpers to win the match for Red Star.
Loyd led all scorers with 23 points while Ognjen Dobric had 13 points plus six assists and Landry Nnoko finished with 12 points plus seven rebounds for Red Star.
Apart from Cobbs, who also had seven assists, Luka Mitrovic dropped 13 points for Buducnost vs. his former team. Nikola Ivanovic finished with 11 points.
