Krka stopped Crvena Zvezda’s streak in the ABA League to bounce back from four consecutive losses

Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana imposed its pace in the fourth quarter to beat Partizan NIS Belgrade 96-89 and recover from a two-game skid in the ABA League.

Jacob Pullen and Jaka Blazic were the leading scorers for Cedevita in the victory with 19 points apiece, while newcomer Yogi Ferrell posted 15 points and 6 assists.

Under the watchful eye of Celtics President Brad Stevens, Yam Madar produced 16 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals in 26 minutes for Partizan.

Zach LeDay posted 17 points, while Aleksa Avramovic and Dallas Moore tapped 15 points each. Partizan suffered its second loss of the season and sits in the second place of the ABA standings.

Crvena Zvezda made a fourth-quarter rally to beat KK Krka 71-70 on the road in Round 11 of the ABA League after being down 59-42 at the end of the third period.

Zvezda returned to the game with improved defense and Nikola Kalinic was there to lift his team to victory with a huge three-pointer to tie the score at 70 points with 8 seconds remaining. A technical call on Krka’s head coach granted Kalinic one free throw, which determined the final result.

Dejan Davidovac had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds for Zvezda, Kalinic followed with 16 and Stefan Markovic posted 10 points.

Rok Stipcevic had 16 points for Krka and Temple Gibbs followed with 14.
