Aaron White registered a team-high 22 PIR after finishing with 15 points plus four assists in Crvena Zvezda‘s 109 – 62 win over Borac in Round 12 of the ABA League. It was the American forward’s ABA debut with the Red Star jersey and just second game after his return from injury.
Nikola Ivanovic posted 16 points and six assists while Austin Hollins scored 16 as well for an unstoppable Zvezda squad, especially strong from the 3-point line. Dejan Radonjic’s players hit 18-33 3-pointers to make short work of a Borac that was competitive only in the second quarter (21 – 24).
After the break, Zvezda delivered 37 points in the third period against its’ opponents 15 to turn the game into a rout.
Sava Lesic (17 points) and Ivan Marinkovic (11 points, seven rebounds) scored in double figures for Borac.
