Crvena Zvezda mts wins 16th out of 17 games in the AdmiralBet ABA League

Ognjen Kuzmic recorded a season-high 17 points leading Crvena Zvezda mts to the 76-69 victory versus Mega Mozzart Monday.

The former center of the Golden State Warriors made 7/9 shots and pulled down six rebounds to go along with one assist and one block in the AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season Round 19 affair. Nikola Ivanovic and Ognjen Dobric chipped in 11 more points each. Dejan Davidovac and Nikola Kalinic had eight points apiece.

The team coached by Dejan Radonjic improving to 16-1 reinstated the 1.5 game lead over second-placed rival Partizan NIS in the standings. The fellow team based in Belgrade fell to 8-9 with the loss despite Karlo Matkovic pouring a game-high 20 points. On loan from Crvena Zvezda, youngster Aleksa Uskokovic followed with 13 points, five assists, three rebounds, and two steals.

After opening a double-digit lead, Crvena Zvezda held on down the stretch to secure get back on the win column after a couple of losses at home in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague against AX Armani Exchange Milan and AS Monaco last Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.
