Crvena Zvezda had no trouble on their way to a 76-56 home win over Krka Novo Mesto as they improved to 20-2 at the top of the ABA League standings. Krka remained at the bottom with 4-18.
An interesting fact was that the winning team had no double-digit scorers this game but it should also be noted that the whole lineup received minutes. Only Ognjen Dobric and Aaron White logged more than 20 minutes of playing time.
The 16-year-old hot prospect Nikola Topic, the son of Milenko Topic who also played for Zvezda, got some minutes and used them well. He scored four points in 16 minutes while also adding five assists, two rebounds, two steals before fouling out.
However, he stole the spotlight and secured his name in the club’s history books. He set the new club record, becoming the youngest ever player to score points for Zvezda in the ABA League.

Nate Wolters scored nine points, as did Ognjen Kuzmic who also grabbed 11 rebounds. For Krka, Rok Stipcevic was the only double-digit scorer of the game with 17 points.
