The ABA League reigning champions go 2-0 in the standings after winning against Buducnost

Crvena zvezda started its week on a high note by beating EuroCup participants Buducnost 69-65 in Round 2 of the 2022-23 ABA League.

The hosts managed to come out with the victory in a very hard-fought game from the beginning, especially thanks to Luka Mitrovic and Filip Petrusev, who ended with 15 points each. Ben Bentil added 16 points and 5 rebounds.

The guests stayed close to their opponents until the last minutes of the game, dragged by an inspired Igor Drobnjak, who closed with 19 points. He was the only Buducnost player in double digits.

Earlier, Partizan Mozzart Bet outscored the MZT Aerodrom, 25-9, in the first quarter and rolled to the 92-74 victory. On the rebound from the loss to Alba Berlin in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 1, the team coached by Zeljko Obradovic improved to 2-0 in the ABA League behind James Nunnally and Dante Exum pouring 17 points each.
