While Partizan Belgrade keeps on being undefeated in the ABA League, Crvena Zvezda suffered its first loss in the competition at the hands of KK Zadar, who imposed itself 98-96 on the road.
The first double-double of Luca Vildoza, who had 16 points and 11 assists, wasn’t enough for the red-and-white team. Ben Bentil added 19 points and 8 rebounds.
The away team started the game hot, closing the second quarter up by 11 points, and didn’t let it go anymore.
Despite some good shooting percentages (54.3% 2FG, 42.4% 3FG, and 94.1% FT), the EuroLeague side couldn’t manage to reduce the gap.
However, they went close to tying the game at the last minute, producing a 30-23 run in the fourth quarter.
