After a mediocre first quarter, Crvena Zvezda enhanced their performance and easily beat Partizan 92-77 in the classic Serbian derby for the eighth round of the ABA.

For the winners, six players were in double digits, with Quincy Miller being the top scorer with 17 points. On the other hand, Petar Aranitovic had 19 points for the losing squad.

Partizan made a tremendous start to the game and was in front by 11 points at the end of the first quarter (13-24). Creva Zveza responded with a 13-0 run (26-24) and the match was close until the half-time, which ended with the red and whites having a five-point advantage (45-40), as they outscored their opponents 32-16 in the second quarter. In the second half, Partizan remained close until the end of the third quarter (65-60), but a 15-1 run from the home team let them increase the lead to double digits (80-61). The visitors were unable to make a big come-back and, consequently, Crvena Zvezda easily claimed the victory (92-77).
