Cedevita Olimpija survived do-or-die Game 2 of the ABA League semifinals, as Mirsad Alilovic’s players defeated Partizan Mozzart Bet in Ljubljana 95-83 to return the series to Belgrade for a decisive match.

The winner will meet Crvena Zvezda in the finals, but Game 3 of the semis between Cedevita Olimpija and Partizan is scheduled for June 6, since the Slovenian champions have to play domestic finals against Helios Suns in between.

The hosts dominated on the glass again with 39 rebounds over just 23 from Zeljko Obradovic‘s squad, and had an amazing 76,9% for two (20/26), with eight more assists than the guests (18-10).

Former Panathinaikos player Yogi Ferrell dominated with 21 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists for a PIR of 36, while former Baskonia player Zoran Dragic added 12 points for the winning side. Alen Omic finished with 10 points and six boards, while Edo Muric also added 10 points.

For Partizan, a great game from captain Kevin Punter wasn’t enough. He scored 24 points with eight rebounds, for almost 36 minutes he spent on the court. Dante Exum followed with 16 points, James Nunnally added 14, and Mathias Lessort scored 11 points.
