Partizan Belgrade trailed Cibona Zagreb by six at halftime and then had an absolutely dominant second half to take a 96 – 67 win. The defending ABA League champions moved to 3-0 while their opponents dropped to 0-3.

James Nunnally was the main man for Partizan with 14 out of his 17 points in the next 10 minutes as his team closed the third period up 67 – 70. The hosts kept pushing to turn what was previously a close game into a blowout with an impressive 29 – 7 partial score in the final quarter.

Apart from Nunnally, who also had four assists and four rebounds, Balsa Koprivica added 15 points plus six boards for Partizan while Danilo Andjusic scored 14.

Aleksandar Aranitovic (21 points) and Jakov Mustavic (17 points) stood out from Cibona.

Partizan will next face Barcelona at home Tuesday (17/10) and then travel to Greece for the game vs. Olympiacos Piraeus (19/10) in the first EuroLeague double-game week of 2023-24.
