While the EuroLeague Round 9 was going on, history was written in the ABA League, as the 27-year-old Luka Bozic registered the third-ever triple-double since the competition was created, leading KK Zadar in the 82-75 win over Split in the Croatian derby.

The former Buducnost player, in fact, spending the whole 40:00 minutes on the court, erupted for 28 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. He joined Chester Mason – who had 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists in the 2009-10 season – and Feliks Kojadinovic – who put up 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists in the same year.

In eight games played since the start of the season, Luka Bozic has been averaging 25.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game. He was named MVP and inserted into the ABA League’s First Team in the 2022-23 season with 21.7 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game.
