After a mediocre season so far, Partizan decided to change head coach and Aleksandar Dzikic is back, replacing the captain with the largest number of trophies in the history of the club, Petar Bozic.

The experienced Serb was the head coach of Krka (twice), Union Olimpija and Lietuvos Rytas. Before becoming the head coach for the first time at Olimpija, Dzikic worked two seasons as an assistant coach in Minnesota Timberwolves and between 1999 and 2005 he was an assistant coach of Partizan.

In his career so far he has won the EuroChallenge Cup trophy, four Slovenian national championship trophies and two Slovenian national cup trophies. As an assistant coach of Partizan Dzikic became Serbian champion four times and Serbian cup winner twice.
