Taking over in crunch time, Zach LeDay lifted Partizan Mozzart Bet to a huge win in Moraca Sports Center.
Returning to action after two weeks, the 29-year-old forward/center handed a win, 89-83, against Buducnost VOLI to clinch at least the second seed in the Playoffs bracket of the AdmiralBet ABA League.
LeDay ended up with 22 points, including five straight to restore a two-possession lead in the final minute for the reigning ABA champions coached by Zeljko Obradovic.
Kevin Punter piled up 19 points, nine assists, three rebounds, and one block in Round 25 of the Regular Season. Jaleen Smith and Ognjen Jaramaz were left out of the lineup in Podgorica.
The hosts nearly dug their way out of a nine-point hole in the fourth quarter, but surrendering forced them to move into the Playoffs of the regional league as the third seed. Fletcher Magee had a team-high 17 points in a narrow loss.
Wrapping up the penultimate Round of the Regular Season, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet can clinch the top seed and attached homecourt advantage with a home win against SC Derby on Monday.
