Zeljko Obradovic’s team started the postseason in the ABA League in the right way at home

Both Serbian powerhouses couldn’t extend their European season over the EuroLeague Regular Season, as Crvena Zvezda ended in 16th position at 11-23 and Partizan Belgrade didn’t make it to the Play-In Showdown, finishing 11th at 16-18.

However, both teams are back at it in the ABA League Playoffs. After Crvena Zvezda beat SC Derby 83-81 in their Game 1 of the Quarter-Finals best-of-three series, Partizan Belgrade followed with a 00-00 win over BC Igokea.

Black-and-white captain Kevin Punter led his team in scoring with 18 points, shooting great from three (3/4) and at the line (5/6). Zach LeDay had a 16-point impact on his team’s win, while James Nunnally had an all-around night with 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists.
