Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet secured their spot in the ABA League finals once again, defeating Mega MIS 2-0 in the semifinal series.

According to Meridian Sport, the Serbian champions are also on the verge of acquiring a player from Mega, former Tennessee Volunteers big man Uros Plavsic.

The 25-year-old center had a good year in the ABA League, averaging 15.4 points and 7.7 rebounds. Apparently, he has made a deal to join Crvena Zvezda for the next season, which is expected to become official once the current season ends.

Plavsic didn’t play against Crvena Zvezda in the ABA semifinals due to an injury, while Ioannis Sfairopoulos’ side secured two big wins. After defeating Mega 103-73 in front of their fans, the red and whites won the second game on the road 69-94.

They will face Partizan or Buducnost in the final, as that semifinal series will be decided in Game 3, after the Montenegrin side defended its home court in the second clash with a 74-73 victory.
