Both Crvena Zvezda and Partizan Belgrade grabbed comfortable victories in the ABA League before they head to a double-game EuroLeague week.
Thanks to a dominant (10 – 22) fourth period, Partizan defeated SC Derby 80 – 60 on the road to remain undefeated. Carlik Jones scored 19 points for the winning side, Iffe Lundberg dropped 13 points and Brandon Davies had 10 points.
Zvezda routed Igokea 91 – 68. Mike Daum (16 points) and Isaiah Canaan (14 points) stood out from the reigning champions, now 2-2.
On Tuesday (15/10), Zvezda will face Fenerbahce Beko on the road in a clash between two unbeaten teams in the EuroLeague so far. Partizan will look to get its first win vs. Bayern Munich in Belgrade.
