The Serbian team got up 2-1 in the ABA League Finals

Things didn’t go well for Partizan Belgrade in Game 2 of the ABA League Finals, which everybody expected to be up against Crvena Zvezda for another edition of the Eternal Derby.

Instead, Buducnost VOLI not only reached the Finals, but also moved to Belgrade with a 1-1 tie thanks to their 11-point win in the second game of the series with home-court advantage.

However, once returning in front of the black-and-white supporters, Zeljko Obradovic‘s team managed to find itself up 2-1 in the series, winning 83-67 in Game 3.

Iffe Lundberg had one of the best scoring performances of the season, putting up 14 points and 5 rebounds; Carlik Jones and Sterling Brown combined for 27 points, while Tyrique Jones had a dominant double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.

On the Montenegrin side, Rasheed Sulaimon had a 20-point losing effort, shooting 7/7 at the line. Yogi Ferrell and Nikola Tanaskovic each added 10 points.
