Zadar nearly won despite having just eight available players in the roster.

Buducnost forced Zadar to score just eight points in the fourth quarter en route to winning 75 – 69 in the game that concluded Round 20 in ABA League. The Montenegrin side caught up with Cedevita in the second place in the standings thanks to this win.

Zadar put up quite a fight despite having just eight players available in the squad. With the score 70 – 69, Edwin Jackon scored a key triple and then Nemanja Gordic added a pair of free throws for a 5-0 run that sealed the win for Buducnost.

Earl Clark scored a team-high 18 points while Goga Bitadze had 15 points for Buducnost. Jackon added 10 points while Gordic had 10 assists plus nine points.

From Zadar’s side, veteran center Luka Zoric dropped a game-high 22 points.

In the other games of this Round, Crvena Zvezda won the derby vs. Partizan Belgrade and Krka pulled off the upset against Cedevita.
