Justin Cobbs scored a game-high-tying 23 points and notched a team-best five assists as Cedevita beat reigning champion Buducnost 90 – 83 in Game 1 of the ABA League quarterfinals.

Jacob Pullen added 20 points, Elgin Cook 14 while Andrija Stipanovic finished with 12 points and eight rebounds for Cedevita that needs one more victory to return to the Finals where the team last played in 2017.

Buducnost, on the other hand, needs two straight wins for a chance to defend its trophy. Earl Clark posted 23 points, Norris Cole 13 and seven assists while Nemanja Gordic scored 11 and dished out six assists. NBA Draft prospect Goga Bitadze had eight points (3/4 2-pointers, 2/3 free throws) four rebounds and two blocks in the 22:06 minutes he played before getting fouled out.

Game 2 is hosted by Buducnost in Podgorica.
