Stratos Perperoglou led Crvena Zvezda’s offensive show as they dominated Buducnost for a 2-0 lead in ABA League Finals.

Crvena Zvezda once again put on an offensive show for the home crowd recording a convincing 107-69 home win over Buducnost in Game 2 of ABA League Finals and is now ahead 2-0 in the best-of-five series.

The hosts were on fire as they shot 25-30 (83.3%) for two and 12-25 (48%) from deep and Buducnost which couldn’t respond found themselves down by a 20-point margin (54-34) already in the first half. Zvezda didn’t let up increasing the lead to as much as 40 points (103-63) and leaving no chance for a comeback to the guests.

Stratos Perperoglou led the winning side with 17 points on 7-8 shooting but had to exit the game near the end of the third quarter due to what seems to be a calf injury, Milan Tomic explained at the press conference. K. C. Rivers added 16 and Ognjen Dobric 12 points (5-5 FG).

For Buducnost, Nemanja Gordic scored 11 points along with six assists while Filip Barovic and James Bell added ten points each, The winners of the ABA Liga finals also secures a spot in next season’s EuroLeague.
