Unicaja Malaga announced the addition of forward Marko Simonovic. The Serbian player signed a contract for the remainder of the season and is available to participate only in the Spanish ACB League since the EuroCup transfer deadline has long expired.

Simonovic, 33, began the season with Cedevita Olimpija. He averaged 10.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while shooting 50.0% on 3-pointers. He previously played in such teams as Crvena Zvezda, Alba Berlin and Zenit St. Petersburg.

Malaga was looking for players to add following the injuries of wing Axel Toupane, forward Carlos Suarez and guard Jaime Fernandez.
