Andorra forward David Walker returned to Ohio, USA to be with his family and by doing so he “ignored recommendations of the club” according to Spanish news agency EFE, per Marca. The Spanish ACB League was suspended indefinitely on April 2.

The American State Department issued a Global Level 4 Health Advisory on March 31, calling US citizens to arrange for their immediate return to the States and warning them otherwise they should be prepared to stay abroad indefinitely.

Various clubs in Europe gave permission to their foreign players to return to their home countries in light of the coronavirus outbreak. Some of them include EuroLeague teams Maccabi Tel Aviv, CSKA Moscow, Olimpia Milano, Olympiacos Piraeus and ASVEL Villeurbanne.

Walker, 26, has one year left in his contract with Andorra. He signed with the team in 2016.
