During the latest edition of the “Abrines Show” he broadcasts through his Twitch channel, Alex Abrines confirmed that a survey was conducted by ABP (Spain’s Association of Professional Basketball Players) regarding the player’s opinion on the conclusion of the 2019-20 ACB season. The voting results were obtained and reported by Eurohoops.

“The ABP asked us a couple of days before Delaney left whether we wanted the season to resume,” he said confirming the survey, “Each player has his own unique situation. About mine, I am frustrated that something can happen. My wife is among people at higher risk and is also pregnant.”

After including himself in the majority of the players against the potential resumption, the 26-year-old Spaniard additionally noted that his FC Barcelona teammates are opposed as well.

“I am not among the players involved in the ABP, but judging from my teammates I have been talking to, if Barca is not 0-16, it is very close,” he mentioned referring to Barcelona’s unanimous vote against resuming ACB action.

“That’s it,” he replied laughing when asked what recently departing teammate Malcolm Delaney would vote.
