A player of Coosur Real Betis tested positive for coronavirus, the Spanish club announced on Thursday. All players were tested prior to the start of the training camp for the 2020-21 season scheduled to begin on Monday, August 10.
The announcement notes that the player found positive is asymptomatic, in good health, and quarantined at home, according to the protocols implemented by health authorities in Spain and by the club itself.
He will be tested again in the following days before being cleared to join his teammates in practices.
