Unicaja Malaga confirmed that a member of the team has tested positive for coronavirus, so their upcoming flight for the ACB opener against Joventut Badalona on Friday has been postponed per the team’s announcement.
Per Unicaja:
“Following the protocol of the league and the club, the person who tested positive despite being asymptomatic has undergone a second backup test whose result has returned to be positive too, which forces the whole team to have to pass another test before they play in Badalona.
For this reason the team has had to suspend the trip to Badalona scheduled for this afternoon.”
The ACB a little later confirmed that the game between the two teams has been postponed and played on Monday, September 21 at 20:30 (local time).
