The second day of the Spanish league went down with tight contests.

Nikola Mirotic and Dejan Kravic have been appointed with the MVP honors of the second day in the Spanish League, after their individual performances that led their teams to respective wins.

Real Madrid – Zaragoza 102-83

Fabien Causeur dropped 25 points in Real Madrid‘s comfortable win while Rudy Fernandez followed with 16 and Walter Tavares with 15 points.

For Zaragoza, Rasheed Sulaimon scored 18 while Nicolas Brussino helped with 15 and Dylan Ennis with 12 points.

San Pablo Burgos – Gran Canaria 92-60

San Pablo Burgos dominated Gran Canaria thanks to Dejan Kravic’s 20 points as well as Thad McFadden’s 15 and Ken Horton’s 14 points.

For GranCa, Jacob Willey scored 14 in addition to Frankie Ferrari’s ten points.

Real Betis – Joventut 57-78

Simon Birgander with 13 points led the way for Joventut which put on a rather convincing display against Real Betis. Pau Ribas followed with 12 and Ferran Bassas with 11 points.

For Betis, Yakuba Ouattara scored ten points as the only double-digit scorer while Mamadou Niang added nine points.

Valencia Basket – MoraBanc Andorra 91-76

After a narrow loss vs. Baskonia at the start of the season, Valencia bounced back against Andorra led by Martin Hermannsson with 14 while Klemen Prepelic and Nikola Kalinic added 13 points each.

For Andorra, Tyson Perez flirted with a double-double, logging 18 points and nine boards while Jeremy Senglin helped with ten points.

Unicaja Malaga – Barcelona 70-79

Nikola Mirotic and Alex Abrines did their part to lead Sarunas Jasikevicius’ squad to victory in Malaga with 24 and 21 points each, with a comeback to the game in the second half after trailing 38-32 at halftime.

Dario Brizuela had a team-high performance for the hosts with 17 points.

Fuenlabrada – Baskonia 73-89

Fuenlabrada’s Melo Trimble scored 22 of his total 28 points against Baskonia in the third quarter, though it wasn’t enough to put his team on the right track. Baskonia prevailed with the help of Rokas Giedraitis (17 points), Tonye Jekiri (13 points), Alec Peters, Achilles Polonara and Pierria Henry (11 points apiece).

UCAM Murcia – Movistar Estudiantes 93-80

Conner Frankamp and Jordan Davis made sure Murcia would seal the victory at its homecourt and helped their team to victory with 24 and 21 points apiece.

Estudiantes’ John Roberson finished the game with a team-high performance of 20 points.

BAXI Manresa – Monbus Obradoiro 76-80

The Lithuanian duo of Laurynas Beliauskas and Layrunas Birutis led Obradoiro to victory over Manresa with 15 and 14 points each after a tight contest.

Martynas Sajus led all Manresa scorers with 13 points.

RETAbet Bilbao Basket – Iberostar Tenerife 70-81

Bruno Fitipaldo and Giorgi Shermadini scored 19 points each in Tenerife’s 81-70 win over Bilbao while Aaron Doornekamp added 16 and Dani Diez 13 points.

For Bilbao, Jaylon Brown scored 19 in addition to Jaroslaw Zyskowski’s 13 points.
